The naira on Monday appreciated further at the official foreign exchange market, trading at N1,452.79 to the dollar.
The naira depreciated on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, trading at N1,484.13; N1,494.01 and N1,498.97 respectively.
The Yuan is allowed to rise or fall by two per cent from the central parity rate each trading day.
The naira experienced minimal losses earlier in the week, trading at N1,535.62 on Wednesday and N1,535.24 on Tuesday.
According to data released on the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) official website, the naira lost 20 kobo against the dollar.
The naira opened the new trading week on Monday, July 14, 2025, with an N11.37 gain against the dollar.
