The total daily turnover increased to $296.63 million on Friday up from $214.73 million recorded on Thursday.
Data from the official trading platform of the FMDQ Exchange revealed that the naira lost N4.8.
At the Investor’s and Exporter’s (I&E) window, the naira traded between N1,698.50 and N1,609.00 against the dollar.
At the Investor’s and Exporter’s (I&E) window, the naira traded between N1,690.00 and N1,620.00 against the dollar.
At the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window, the naira traded between N1,690 and N1,601 against the dollar.
At the Investor’s and Exporter’s (I&E) window, the naira traded between N1,670.50 and N1,556.29 against the dollar.
Mr Kanaya said, “All BDCs are allowed to sell to eligible end-users at a margin not more than one per cent above the purchase rate from CBN.’’
In China’s spot foreign exchange market, the yuan can rise or fall by two per cent from the central parity rate each trading day.
