The solicitor-general said the youngest child who experienced sexual violence was an 18-month-old baby.
Ms Vivour-Adeniyi said despite being aware of their partners’ abusive behaviour, some survivors still married such people.
Indeed, men and boys can be victims of domestic and sexual violence.

“Gender-based violence (GBV) is violence involving men and women, in which the female is usually the victim.”
