The magistrate adjourned the case until July 2 for hearing.
The prosecutor said that the offence contravened Section 262 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
Ms Okoi, residing in Ogudu GRA, is standing trial on a two-count charge of stealing and obtaining under false pretences.
They, however, pleaded not guilty before Magistrate M.O. Tanimola.
