Mr Abubakar and his wife were abducted by suspected bandits along the Matazu Local Government Area axis.
Mr Rabiu-Faskari said, “Information reaching the government indicates that they are still alive and healthy in the custody of their abductors.’’
“These issues have had devastating consequences for the local population.’’
Salisu-Zango said the project was designed to enhance transportation and ease movement of goods and services.
He further stated that government would strive to ensure proper implementation of the budget for the benefit of the people of the state.
