He said it reflects the status of candidates who do not yet meet the eligibility requirements for admission.
JAMB said that the new policy was to ensure that the DE candidates justify the possession of their A Level certificates.
“Candidates who for technical reasons could not take the examination are to print new examination notifications early on April 26 to know their rescheduled sessions.”
A total of 1.5 million candidates would be sitting for this year’s examination in 740 centres across the country.
Mr Benjamin said the time scheduled for the registration exercise from February 19 to March 26 was the only allotted time for the exercise.
