Mr Shuaib said he made a presentation to the council on three broad areas—the COVID-19 vaccination update, polio eradication and also routine immunisation.
The federal government on Wednesday destroyed over one million doses of expired AstraZeneca vaccines in Abuja.
Mr Shuaib appealed to persons 18 years and above and unvaccinated to simply walk into the nearest vaccination site to take their COVID-19 vaccine.
“I encourage every Nigerian to have confidence in the COVID-19 vaccines, it’s critical in tackling the virus,” the NPHCDA boss said.
