The former minister has consistently maintained his innocence of the charge preferred against him by the anti-graft agency.
Mr Agunloye sought the payment of compensation of N1billion as general and exemplary damage to him.
Mr Agunloye said the removal of fuel subsidy which, if well-handled, could impact positively on both the economic growth and development of Nigeria.
Mr Agunloye had earlier been sacked on March 28 by party executives in his native Ondo State over alleged anti-party activities.
Mr Agunloye described his suspension as “political rascality”.
