She said the state’s commissioner of police, Garba Ahmad, had reiterated his determination to tackle gender-based violence, which caused severe trauma to the victims.
The police spokesperson said several complaints about vigilante members’ untoward behaviour prompted the state’s CP to call for a review of their registration.
