Mr Nansel said that normalcy had already returned to the area.
Mr Nansel said the suspect was arrested by police operatives attached to Agwan Lambu Division, close to the university, on May 9 for allegedly committing the act.
The PPRO said the police received 267 pairs of uniforms, 102 pieces of black belts and 189 pieces of infantry lanyards from the group.
“Police, in collaboration with members of vigilance groups and some brave members of the community, went after the hoodlums.”
Mr Nansel said the police acted after the command got intelligence about the influx of internet fraudsters into Keffi Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.
The police spokesperson said no ransom was paid before the victims were released.
The police spokesperson said the command got the news of the incident at 8:30pm on Monday.
“The ban becomes necessary due to the dangers associated with them.’’
On December 6, gunmen kidnapped some students of the institution who were residents off-campus.
The students of the institution, on Thursday, embarked on a peaceful protest over the persistent spate of kidnappings around the school.
