The police command in Yobe says it has stepped up vigilance against the activities of thugs and miscreants in Potiskum LGA of the state.
Mr Abdulkarim assured the public that efforts were underway to track down and rearrest the fugitive.

Mr Ahmed warned the officers against ethno-religious sentiments in the discharge of their duties.
“He has been terrorising Yobe towns, villages and neighbouring states.’’
The spokesman said the police were also on the trail of the remaining three suspects, assuring that they would be arrested soon.
Mr Abdulkarim said that police operatives apprehended the suspects, Lance Cpl John Gabriel and Lance Cpl Adamu Gideon on August 19.
Mr Buni gave the offer in Damaturu when members of the deceased’s family visited him to express gratitude for his support to them.
“This case has offered more questions than answers, and Nigerians are waiting for responses, particularly from the Nigerian Army,” MURIC said.
Sheikh Goni Aisami was driving between Kano and Gashua, in the northeastern Yobe region, when the soldiers he gave a ride killed him and stole his Honda Accord 2006 model.
