Mr Ajaero said the salaries of some workers were currently below the amount they were receiving before the new minimum wage of N70,000.
Mr Ajaero, had on Thursday, honoured a summons by the Intelligence Response Team (IRT).

NLC is demanding a minimum wage of N494,000 based on the spiking cost of living, while the federal government is offering to pay N60,000.
The South-East chapter of NLC and TUC have proposed N540,000 and N447,000 as the new minimum wage for Nigerian workers.
