An earthquake struck the Iranian capital Tehran late on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
ARCS said on Tuesday that a 6.0-magnitude quake caused widespread destruction in Kunar province, where more than 8,000 homes had been destroyed.
The funding comes in addition to €161 million previously allocated in 2025 for humanitarian organisations active in Afghanistan.
The country is also home to 127 active volcanoes.
