The Ebonyi government has commenced the demolition of ‘illegal’ structures and slums in Abakaliki.
“The property owners and developers have been served with demolition notices, and we advised them to remove those structures.”
The university’s chief security officer, Felix Nwafor, promised that efforts would be doubled to ensure adequate security.
