The positive market performance could be attributed to investors’ increased buy-interest in all major sectors.
FBN Holdings accounted for 605.01 million shares worth N8.90 billion traded on Thursday.
Consequently, the Court of Appeal awarded Mr Jwan N500,000 as general damages against Ecobank for failure to pay its customer N10,000 through the bank’s ATM.

The All-Share Index dipped 16.94 points or 0.04 per cent to close at 39,505.40 from 39,522.34 on Friday.
The bullish run was influenced by gains in medium and large capitalised stocks.
The market closed negative with 11 gainers in contrast with 23 losers.
The market capitalisation rose by N30 billion on Wednesday.
