The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has detained four Chinese and 27 others over alleged illegal mining in Jos.
He was originally arraigned on a six-count charge, but two charges were dropped following a discussion between the parties.
The naira dipped further, trading at N1,825 to a dollar, despite efforts by the EFCC to disrupt the activities of perceived manipulators and speculators.
“I’m not a director. I resigned as far back as 2019 and CAC certified it.”
“So, the EFCC should be supported in this great service meant to improve the lives of Nigerians,” he said.
Mr Ojile said the officers had undergone needed intensive training in the last two months to make the exercise hitch-free.
