The mandate secretary said the gesture is a testament to the priority Mr Wike placed on the education sector.
“When you are talking about digital teaching and learning, definitely you have to do away with papers, pencils, pens and the rest of them.”
“The teachers have resumed work and are ready to work. The students are also in school and ready for learning,” he said.
“We will ensure that no child’s education is compromised by inadequate facilities or unsafe conditions.”
The affected schools are Erudite Bright Kids at Kagini and Jane’s Angela School in Abuja Municipal Area Council.
He pointed out the need for additional tertiary institutions in the nation’s capital to decongest the population in the FCT College of Education Zuba.
