FRSC Corps Commander in Kogi said that the special patrol became imperative due to the recklessness of some motorists during festivities like Sallah.
She added that there would also be effective crowd control at recreation parks and other related venues.
Mr Ahmed-Muhammed further explained that the fire service will make efforts to ensure safety of people during the eid-el-Kabir in the State.
The governor said rainfall is necessary in order to have a bumper harvest in the state during this farming season.

Kogi sector commander Stephen Dawulung said that the team would also checkmate carnage during the festivities.
