He emphasised that residents had long relied on unsafe water sources.
“The reality is clear: as long as insecurity continues unabated, more protests will follow,” said Mr Obi.
The police spokesperson said, ” The suspect, one Obehi Odine ‘F,’ aged 18, was arrested for staging her own kidnapping and demanding a ransom of ten million naira.”
The police spokesperson said the operatives came under gunfire while attempting to effect arrests.

The students opposed a plan by the university management to induct them alongside their juniors.
“The new state coordinator is expected to bring his rich expertise in the course of his many years with the NYSC.”
He advised road users in the state to obey traffic rules and regulations for safety.
“Surely, anything the university has not approved is illegal, null and void,” he said.
Additionally, the school, in the undertaking, made the students promise not to be involved in any form of protest against the directive.
