Security agencies have been urged to monitor politicians with divisive tendencies, following allegations against House of Representatives aspirant, Mathias Ezeaku.
He said he cherished the party and would never allow anyone to push him into acting against it.
“It’s not our wish to find ourselves in this situation. It is due to factors that are beyond our control,” stated the minister of power, Adebayo Adelabu
He commended the electorate for having confidence in the existing executives and giving it a new mandate.
The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is the only major political party participating in Saturday’s contest.
APGA has released the list of cleared aspirants for its chairmanship primaries ahead of the 2026 local government elections in Anambra.
She said that the rejection undermined transparency and credibility in elections.
“A government capable of forging or tampering with laws cannot be trusted to conduct free and fair elections in 2027,” stated Mr Atiku.
“Only a fool hell-bent on a suicidal path or an outright imposter can dare to challenge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 election,” said the vice-president.
Mr Matawalle expressed gratitude to God for bringing into the APC such big shots as IMAD whose legacy cuts across the whole state and beyond.
