NERC said the reviews would put into consideration changes in inflation, foreign exchange, gas prices and available generation capacity.
Kaduna Electric said because of the incident, it was compelled to temporarily withdraw electricity services to the three communities.
“As for the issue of the price of PMS, it is a work in progress. The governors are to discuss this on Thursday.”
Despite ordering a reversal of the hike, Mr. Mamman ironically doubled down on NERC’s statement on Tuesday which denied the increment.
The party says the 100 percent hike in electricity tariff will worsen the economic hardship being faced by Nigerians at this time.
The new tariffs are expected to rise even higher mid-2021 upon implementation of a Cost Reflective Tariff (CRT), billed to commence from June.
The NEMSA boss said any meter without its seal should be deemed as fake.
