Organisers of the Paris Olympics apologised following outcry over parody of the Last Supper scene of Jesus Christ with his 12 disciples.
The Catholic bishop advised Christians to make people feel the earth shaking event of Jesus rising from the dead.
Mr Badejo said as Nigerians plan to observe Workers’ Day on Monday, the government should be sensitive to the workers’ plights and loudly encourage them by paying handsomely.
The bishop called on the people in leadership positions, especially Christians, to emulate Jesus in his love, humility, service and generosity.
Bishop of the Catholic diocese in Oyo said that governance and policies must have a human face.
The cleric said politics should not be about personal enrichment, “but selflessly serving the people”.
