Meanwhile, Governor-elect Agbu has described his victory as a triumph of the people’s will.

Mr Emmanuel Bwacha scored 778 votes to emerge winner, while Senator Yusuf Yusuf came second with five votes.

Mr Arthimas said that the judgement has put to rest the speculation that APC does not have a governorship candidate in the state.
Justice Obiora Egwuatu, who delivered the judgement, also ordered a fresh primary election to be conducted within 14 days.
