The Labour Party has sued INEC for excluding its candidate from the Enugu North senatorial district by-election scheduled for June 20.
The REC said that the commission would be conducting training for various levels of officials for the by-election on Friday.
They insisted that internal democracy must remain the foundation of the party.
He said the party faithful affirmed Mr Maku’s candidacy for the by-election.
INEC emphasised that there would be no extension of time for applications.
