Ms Kuku had earlier in the day inspected Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, where the system had already been launched.
He said the move would be a foundation for a more modern and resilient airport logistics system.
According to the statement, both certificates strengthen FAAN’s credibility with international airlines.
According to her, FAAN will provide the framework for training, setting, and reviewing IMS objectives and targets.
The report also showed that there was a significant decline in domestic passenger movements across 22 airports in the country.
Mustapha Geidam, the ministry’s permanent secretary, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.
Mr Ganduje explained that the FAAN board was determined to improve the passenger experience and safety compliance.
Mrs Kuku said that Kano’s long-standing history as a hub of commerce and culture made it an ideal location for aviation’s early development in Nigeria.
She said FAAN had deployed trained brand ambassadors at access gates and terminal areas to ensure the success of the new initiative.
Ms Kuku particularly commended Mrs Tinubu’s transformative ‘Renewed Hope Initiative.’
