The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board says the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination’s original result slip will be available for printing on Wednesday.
The board said the decision was aimed at ensuring that no eligible candidate was denied access to tertiary education.
Mr Benjamin said a total of 1,264,950 results were released for the two days.
Candidates who wrote the examination on Thursday, April 16, 2026, are now available for viewing.
The UTME, which started on Thursday, will end on April 25, 2026.
Mr Emenari, however, said one of the victims eventually escaped from the kidnappers.
He urged candidates scheduled for the main UTME to remain calm.
Mr Benjamin said the examination would commence on April 16.
The exercise was conducted across 989 computer-based test centres nationwide.
JAMB noted, “The law is explicit that no candidate is permitted to hold two admissions concurrently.”
