He stated that the initiative demonstrates President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to both environmental sustainability and economic growth.
The federal government has issued licences to the NNPCL Exploration and Production Ltd. and Belema Sweet Export Terminal Ltd to establish crude export terminals.
“I have directed them to start evacuating the product immediately to filling stations,” said NMDPRA boss.
Dangote refinery has installed production capacity of 650,000 barrels per day. This is double the total output of Nigeria’s existing refining infrastructure.
“Today we have 1.9 billion litres of PMS. Lagos is cleared in a couple of days. We will clear the queues in Abuja.”
The new regulations are to bring clarity, improve business processes and ease of doing business in the sector, NMDPRA said.
