Mr Owoseni said the decision followed the infiltration and manipulation of the party structure.
Mr Owoseni noted that Accord Party stood out among other political parties due to its ability to attract organic grassroots support.
Mr Owoseni is one of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirants seeking the party’s ticket ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
He said that the suspects are currently undergoing further investigation.
