The demolition started with Area 3 and Banex Junction Taxi Ranks in Abuja on Friday.
Mr Wike asserted that having “shock absorbers,” or being ready for treachery, was an essential survival skill in politics.
Mr Wike added that, in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda, the development plans for the FCT in 2024 encompass several key areas.
Mr Wike gave the directive in Abuja on Tuesday, shortly after inspecting the areas.

Mr Wike said the era where three or more persons were allocated the same plot of land with fake C-of-O was over.
Mr Wike said SUKUK management had agreed to fund projects outside its coverage areas, mainly roads and bridges.
The legislators said this would ensure that he gets more revenue for the development of infrastructure in the FCT.
He said that the committee would conduct regular stakeholder engagement
“I was a governor for eight years. I am now FCT Minister, and some will say that I am asking for 25 per cent. That is madness. I am not interested in the governance of Rivers.”
