The AMMC coordinator, Felix Obuah, disclosed this to reporters after a meeting with representatives of the affected traders and mechanics in Abuja
Mr Tinubu added that the completion of the project was a testimony to the respect and affection that the president has for the vice president.
The minister explained that the project’s first phase was awarded to Salini Nigeria Ltd in 2010 at N17 billion and revised to N18 billion in 2023.
“I recommend that this road be named, Wole Soyinka Way,” said Mr Wike.
Mr Wike stated this in Abuja on Thursday during the ministerial sectoral update on the performance of President Bola Tinubu.
