The returning officer for the election, Abiodun Oluwadare, declared the election results in the early hours of Sunday in Ibadan.
He said that the matter had been referred to the security agencies for investigation.
Shefiudeen Oyeyemi, head of the department (Voters Education and Publicity) for INEC in Ondo, disclosed this on Thursday in Akure.
The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court has adjourned Rep Alhassan Doguwa’s suit until September 25.
INEC said his name was dropped from the list because of a court order.
“What ensued at the venue of the primaries highly threatens the credibility and integrity the APC has built over two political cycles,” the media aide said.
