Mr Yero won the APC Kaduna North senatorial district primary election with 6,060 votes, defeating Muazu Mukaddas, who scored 1,044 votes, while Bala Ikara polled 362 votes.
Mr Baba-Ahmed said that reconstruction of internal roads at ABU, Zaria was progressing steadily.

He said the university, although located in an existing institution, would attract some financial implications for its operational and physical structures.
