The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has commended President Bola Tinubu’s resolve to make workers enjoy a living wage in 2024.
The party said it was hopeful that the budget would truly renew the hope of Nigerians.
Mr Olaniyi urged Messrs Atiku and Obi to be ready to lend Mr Tinubu ideas to make Nigeria compete favourably well in the comity of nations.
His appeal comes as Nigerians have continued to seek justice for the singer’s death.
Mr Olaniyi told journalists that the president had initiated various reforms and initiatives to turn the country around.
The party said that Nigeria’s economy was in need of urgent attention, and requires swift and treatment to address the suffering of the masses.
Mr Olaniyi, the chairman of SDP in Lagos State, described Mr Buhari’s address as a speech of hope for a better Nigeria.
“Diya is our hero and his contributions to national development and the military are numerous.”
