Mr Garba said that the major assignment of the committee was to help in identifying the equipment and other items needed to revitalise the aviation sector.
The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has suspended ten private jet operations over failure to begin the recertification process.
“A healthy and satisfied workforce is a productive workforce,” the minister said.
Some wealthy Nigerian businessmen, politicians, bankers, clerics, among others own private jets.
Mr Keyamo said that NCAT remained the best institution for the aviation industry in Nigeria and West Africa.
NCAA has praised aviation minister Festus Keyamo for contributing to Nigeria’s 71.04 per cent audit rating by ICAO.
Mr Keyamo urged intending pilgrims for the 2024 hajj to be law-abiding citizens.
The minister said the government would also facilitate the acquisition of aircrafts under dry lease agreement.
Mr Tunji-Ojo said that the NIS had no excuse but to deliver on its mandate.
