Mrs Tinubu stated, “When women are equipped with the right tools and knowledge, they become agents of change in their families.’’
According to Mrs Tinubu, each state will receive 10,000 pads through the offices of their first ladies.
The speaker also lauded the state government for naming the hub after the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
She emphasised that economic empowerment of women was a crucial driver for gender equality.
Mrs Tinubu said that the late Doyin carved a path of excellence and courage for many Nigerian women in media and public service.
Mrs Tinubu thanked the Super Falcons on behalf of the Nigerian women and the entire nation.
Mrs Dabiri-Erewa said that more needed to be done to curb human trafficking.
Mrs Tinubu made this call on Friday in a statement to commemorate World Malaria Day.
The first lady also appealed against discrimination, adding that it was pertinent that all citizens of the country could coexist peacefully.
