Fisayo Soyombo, FIJ’s editor-in-chief, raised the alarm about Mr Uti’s arrest and detention in a tweet on Tuesday.
Mr Soyombo appreciated Nigerians for their immediate interventions.
The army said Mr Soyombo was arrested during an operation against oil thieves and pipeline vandals.
The force spokesperson said Mr Ojukwu by his story violated the Cybercrime Prohibition Act 2015 and other extant laws of the land.
