During the past two months, the monsoon season caused widespread destruction across Himachal Pradesh, the statement said.
The agency anticipated a high possibility of flooding occurring over parts of Oyo, Ogun, Edo, and Delta during the forecast period.
“We were unable to locate anyone, and it is said that around 12 people were there, but so far they have not been traced,’’ officials said.
Over 1,700 people were killed, and over 33 million were affected by the devastating floods triggered by the erratic monsoon rains last year.
Heavy rainfall is anticipated in the FCT on Thursday and Friday, based on the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) High Impact-Based Forecast.
As many as 903 people were killed, nearly 1,300 injured, and thousands were left homeless.
The National Disaster Management Authority said the death toll has risen to 618, including 134 women and 230 children, since June.
