Mr Emefiele’s co-defendant, Henry Omoile, is facing a three-count charge bordering on unlawful acceptance of gifts by agents.
The judge ruled that Mr Emefiele should submit his travelling documents to the court registrar.
Mr Buhari’s regime justified debt accumulation, claiming loans were obtained for infrastructural development.
Mr Emefiele was suspended on Friday and is now being investigated by the State Security Service.
