Mr Tinubu noted that Mr Ihejirika served Nigeria at a very turbulent period in the war against insurgency.
“It will not disappear, just like other forms of crimes like rape, armed robbery, pickpockets and others,” stated Mr Buratai.
Mr Tinubu commended Mr Akinrinade for his dedication to democratic governance and unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s development.
“No Nigerian culture accepts banditry, kidnapping or terrorism.”
The former army chief said the causes of organised crime in the Sahel, particularly in Nigeria, were multifaceted.
