“He dithered on his successor. He told the world he was not interested, but he tried to undercut the best man in his whole political career: Bola Tinubu,” said Mr Omatseye.
Mr Akpabio insists that eight months were not enough to effect a change and undo the damage of Messrs Buhari and Emefiele’s policy.
“His legacy will continue to inspire future generations and serve as a reminder of the positive impact that can be achieved through…principled leadership,” said Mr Lawan.
