The government expressed appreciation to Mr Itua for his contributions and service.
“Those who live by sword die by sword. To tell the governor or whatever he calls himself that when you start with violence, you reap violence,” said Mr Obaseki.
Mr Idemudia said that the administration’s stance on criminality remained uncompromising.
Mr Itua said the operation was part of the state government’s efforts to curb cult-related violence and other criminal activities in the state.
The government urged Mr Omobayo to respect this directive and avoid actions that could invite consequences or further embarrassment.
