The Federal Road Safety Corps, on Friday, urged motorists fasting to take some rest at intervals to avoid road crashes.
FRSC commander, Badagry Unit, William Manga, confirmed this to journalists, saying the accident occurred at about 12:54 a.m.
Mr Kazeem attributed the low figures to what he termed as “the corps’ rejigged operational tactics towards creating a safer motoring environment in Nigeria”.
On Wednesday, at least eight people died in an auto crash at Shadarki village along the Bauchi-Darazo road in Darazo local council of Bauchi.
A wrongful overtaking attempt by the speeding Golf car driver led to a head-on collision with an oncoming trailer, the traffic official said.
