Mr Oriyomi said that the offence contravened Section 29(1)(a) and punishable under Section 29(2) of Ekiti State Waste Management Authority Law, 2020.
The police prosecutor alleged that the defendant stole one phone valued at N600,000 belonging to one Akinloye Ayo.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred against him.
Mr Oriyomi said that the defendant conducted himself in a manner likely to cause breach of the peace.
Counsels to the first defendant, Gboyega Abiola, and the second defendant, Femi Olarewaju, urged the court to grant them bail. They promised that the defendants would not jump bail.
