On Monday, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock praised U.S. President Joe Biden’s decision to drop his re-election campaign.
German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock and British Foreign Secretary David Cameron were in Israel on Wednesday for crisis diplomacy talks.
Speaking to Israeli Army Radio, Mr Kartz said he was disappointed that the United States had not vetoed the resolution.
She said this was in view of the catastrophic situation of the civilian population in Gaza.
Ms Baerbock said the effects of the two wars are hitting the poorest people the hardest around the world.
“If Vladimir Putin believes that after two years, the world would forget who is responsible for the war in Ukraine,” said Ms Baerbock.
“We have absolutely no choice but to destroy Hamas,” Mr Netanyahu said.
Japan is prepared to provide further humanitarian aid to Gaza, totalling around $65 million.
“Therefore, it is not a good resolution because it is not political. It doesn’t penetrate and call the political problem by its name,” said the official.
“Because the logic of democracies does not work in autocracies.’’
