Kenya has signed six grants totalling $462 million to support programmes targeting HIV, tuberculosis and malaria.
“All hands must, therefore, be on deck to change the TB narrative in Borno.”
Mrs Adeyeye said it was a huge landmark achievement for the agency.
“We are going to devise new mechanisms and approaches in our engagements and fight against HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria control in our country.”
“We appreciate the generosity of the American people and American government and other governments that contribute to the global fund.”
The grant is to assist Nigeria in the fight against tuberculosis (TB), malaria, and HIV/AIDS for the next three years commencing January 2024.
She added that intersectoral, inter-agency and robust partner collaboration helped achieve integrated delivery of malaria services in the state.
