The magistrates resumed strike on February 8 over alleged welfare issues and the state government’s non-fulfilment of promises made in 2023.
Mr Onah said the dispute with the government centred principally on the provision of official vehicles for the over 74 magistrates in the state.
MAN had, on February 2, issued notice of strike to the government.
The association stated that the government reneged on its earlier promised that led to the suspension of the industrial action.
In the document, the magistrates noted that the strike would not cease until the government met their demands.
Magistrates in Cross River on Wednesday embarked on a three-day warning strike over alleged poor welfare and other conditions of service.
They also demanded the rehabilitation of magistrate courts across the state and the non-provision of official vehicles to members.
