Mr Abiodun urged citizens to support the government’s initiatives to promote peace and unity in the country.
The governor said that the sports festival was organised to bring Nigerians together in unity.
Mr Abiodun said the specialist hospital, currently 65 per cent completed, was inherited from the previous administration.
On future plans, Ms Coker explained that the government would continue to improve its ambulance services.
The move led to protests and the deployment of security agents in the area.
“Diya played frontline roles in the evolution and development of the state and Nigeria as a whole,” the governor said.
