According to Mr Namadi, healthcare is the foundation for socio-economic development and progress of the society.
Mr Namadi said the current administration was committed to constructing and rehabilitating deplorable roads in the state.
According to him, there is also the need for government to complete abandoned road projects that link communities.
Gov. Umar Namadi had, on Dec. 9, 2024, presented a budget of N698.3 billion to the assembly for consideration.
He said that the number of teachers in the state was raised from 2, 566 in May 2023, to 5,986.
The payment covers the payment for 39,709 candidates.
“People should turn to God, repent, seek for forgiveness and divine intervention on the challenges,” he said.
He stated that the appointment is purely on merit, competence, personal integrity and seniority.
“The suspension begins with immediate effect pending investigation,” it said.
He said that the ministry’s goal included ensuring food security and driving down food inflation.
