He acknowledged Kogi as one of the seven states in the federation addressing hazard allowances for medical doctors.
Mr Gegu appealed to residents of Kogi to be vigilant and to report anyone found engaging in illegal mining.
Mr Dele called on security agencies to rise to the occasion to maintain the existing peace in the state.
“You are now the servants of the people.”
The commander also said that the corps had activated the use of mobile court to try erring drivers and others.
The defector, Ismail Inah, is a former House of Representatives member who once represented the Idah Federal Constituency in Kogi.
“As it stands in Kogi today, there’s nothing like hierarchy or privilege when it comes to participation within the party.”
Mr Ijele said that innocent citizens are being maimed and killed across the state by sponsored political thugs.
“Of course, we strongly reject the action as we will not be parties to the blatant and flagrant violation of our party’s constitution,” the chairman said.
The disagreement attracted the attention of the state government.
