Governor Ademola Adeleke says work will commence on the state’s house project abandoned for 13 years in the Central Business District, Abuja.
“The relaxation of the curfew is to take effect from Friday until further notice,” he said.
He expressed dismay over the resurgence of the crisis in the warring communities.
The APC chieftain said the order granted by the judge raised questions about the court hierarchy, which the NJC must answer.
“The ongoing political crisis shows that Governor Adeleke has lost public trust. He is now struggling to maintain control,” he said.
The development comes a day after the police advised the state government to suspend the local government elections.
Mr Akingbala commended the electoral umpire for making the process peaceful.
“The Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC) has also done a marvellous preparatory job, according to reports at my disposal,” said the governor.
The former lawmaker said that members of the APC in the state would continue to embrace peace.
Mr Adeleke stated this during the swearing-in and opening of the National Youth Service Corps 2024 Batch C Stream II orientation on Friday in Ede.
